"What did you do at kindy today?” “Nothing”. Sound familiar?

Your little one’s day at childcare or kindergarten is JAM PACKED, so that question, “What did you do today?” can be really overwhelming. They just aren’t sure where to start. After a busy day of playing and learning, it’s often easier to just say ‘nothing’. Let’s banish those one word answers with careful questions that encourage your child to express themselves, describe, explain and share ideas and opinions.
